• Founder, Director and Choreographer of Sundance Express, a competitive clogging troupe.
• Choreographed, taught and perfected many original routines.
• Sundance Express competes up and down the east coast
• Honors earned at every contest team has attended
• Trained dancers to perform original choreography with precision and energy
• Original choreography qualified for the American Clogging Hall of Fame World Championships in
Maggie Valley, NC

• Substitute member of the Mountain Heritage Cloggers
• Position requires dancer to learn and perfect routines quickly and requires a strict practice schedule
separate from the group. Essential that a substitute member is ready to travel with the team at a moments
notice if needed.
2008 – present Mountain Valley Players Bath County, VA
• Board Member and Dancer
• Required to learn choreography, vocals and speaking parts for performances
• Original duet choreography was featured in the Fall 2008 production “Over Here, Over There” – a routine
featuring a combination of Clogging and Swing performed with dance partner, Graham Kershner

• Assisted founder, Christina Hall-Nobili, in preparation for the event

• Received training in Hard Shoe and Soft Shoe by veteran Irish Dancer, Heather Clarke and also performed
with the group.

County Clogging Competition in Orange, VA, first place in contemporary solo and second in acapella
solos at the 2006 North Carolina Clogging Challenge, second place in Contemporary Solos at the 2006
Midwest Clogging Championships and many others

• Sundance Express earned a spot at the 2007 and 2008 American Clogging Hall of Fame World Clogging
Championships in Maggie Valley, N.C. Sundance Express has competed at the Dieter’s Clogging Beach
Jam, Appalachian Pride Clogging Challenge, the Southern Virginia Clogging Classic, the Orange County
Clogging Competition and more earning many honors at each competition in the Open Line, Line,
Traditional Line, Exhibition, Acapella and Duet categories with original routines by Dorothy.
2007 Deiter’s Clogging Beach Jam Myrtle Beach, SC
• Earned the honor of Overall Female Soloist next to dance partner, Graham Kershner, who was awarded
Overall Male Soloist.
2008 American Clogging Hall of Fame Maggie Valley, NC
• Nominated and accepted to the 2008 ACHF All American Clogging Team – an honor bestowed on only 12
women and 12 men from around the country each year
2008 Certified Clogging Teacher Radford, VA
• Received certification from the Radford University Clogging Staff in Radford, VA to be recognized as a
Certified Clogging Teacher in beginner, intermediate and advanced clogging.

• Apprenticed as an ACHF judge next to Simone Pace, Lib Mills and Audrey and Ellis Perry.
